When your card is authorized vs charged

When is my card charged?
Never at booking. Your card is only charged after your first treatment is completed at the clinic — not when you reserve the appointment.
Why do you need a card to hold the slot?
A card on file confirms your appointment and protects your provider's time. We place a temporary authorization (not a charge) to verify the card.
What's the difference between an authorization and a charge?
An authorization is a $0 verification that briefly checks your card is valid — no funds move. A charge is the actual payment, which only happens after your treatment is complete.
What if I cancel or reschedule?
Reschedule anytime through your portal. Cancel 24+ hours before your visit at no cost. Same-day no-shows may be subject to a fee disclosed at booking.
